One and Two Day Trips

"Your crew put together a top notch day for all of us. Every single person that went commented about how much fun they had. It was definitely a great morale booster for our employees. Please let the guides know that they all did a fantastic job."

Whitewater! The sounds of the word conjures up the roar of the rapids, spray on the face, and the pristine beauty of the river . . . in other words, the Umpqua! The Umpqua, north of Crater Lake, is a fast flowing gem from the Cascades and is a whitewater dream. In addition to exceptional Class III and IV whitewater, it is also one of the most beautiful rivers in the Pacific Northwest. Its continuous pool and drop rapids keep constant action rolling. The Umpqua has more rapids per mile than any other Oregon river. This river truly deserves the Wild and Scenic protection it acquired. Volcanic columns tower over the canyon, the river is breathtaking in both beauty and excitement. No wonder it's our favorite one and two day trip, it offers the perfect getaway-from-it-all weekend vacation! Coupled with the kind of inspiring environment that surrounds a river, and the combination of exhilarating challenges, the stimulating situations are infinite . . . as are the pleasures.

A paddle raft trip on the Umpqua is the ultimate! On the full day trip, hearty and delicious riverside lunches are served, freshly prepared for hungry rafters. Meals feature Dutch oven cooking on the overnight getaways, sending the aroma of freshly baked desserts drifting around the campfire.
